THE RECIPE
We start with a blend of organic cherry juice and natural extracts and infusions of bitter orange, rhubarb, gentian, ginger, finished with a subtle hint of chili. We’re proud to use the finest ingredients sourced with care from nearly exclusively Italian suppliers.

THE ORIGINS
IESSI began with a family amaro recipe, passed down by our founder Nicolas’s Nonna Eda. It was invented as traditional herbs and roots macerating on her kitchen counter in Friuli. We reworked the recipe over time, reimagining it with all the complexity but without the alcohol.
THE SERVE
Always enjoy chilled. We serve IESSI over ice, with a slice of lemon. It’s easy to get right, easy to share. Simple as ever and always transporting.
