L’Aperitivo and Il Frizzante are produced in northern Italy: L’Aperitivo in Lombardy, near Milan, and Il Frizzante in Piedmont, where we make use of the region’s light and naturally pure alpine water. 

All our ingredients are sourced from Italian suppliers. The glass bottles and tops for L’Aperitivo and Il Frizzante are manufactured in Europe, while our labels are printed at an atelier in southern France.

Environmental responsibility is important to us.

IESSI is a proud member of 1% For the Planet, with 1% of our annual revenue donated to local nonprofits in Paris.

We fulfill deliveries to restaurants, bars and hotels in Paris via cargo bike.

Our bottles and tops are entirely recyclable. Most of our packaging is made from recycled cardboard and our bottles are produced with partially recycled glass. Our partners and suppliers are based in France and Italy, reducing the environmental impact of shipping and logistics.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, a bottle of L’Aperitivo will keep for up to two months in the fridge. 

IESSI is best served chilled. We recommend keeping L’Aperitivo and Il Frizzante in the refrigerator before drinking.

Our apéritifs contain trace amounts of alcohol from the use of alcohol-based natural extracts. The total alcohol by volume (ABV) is less than 0.5%, well below the EU’s legal minimum of 1.2% ABV required to classify a product as non-alcoholic.

Each person's recovery and sobriety is unique. We hope IESSI can be a satisfying non-alcoholic alternative for those who don't drink alcohol as well as anyone seeking to drink less or explore new options. Please do note that IESSI contains trace amounts of alcohol (less than 0.5% alcohol by volume).

Beverages like IESSI, with less than 0.5% ABV, are generally considered safe for consumption during pregnancy, breastfeeding, and by children under the legal drinking age. With limited research on the effects of consuming trace amounts of alcohol during pregnancy, some healthcare professionals advise against any alcohol consumption. If in doubt, we encourage you to consult with your doctor.

L’Aperitivo and Il Frizzante contain minor amounts of cinchona bark extract, the natural source of quinine. In large quantities, quinine has been linked to complications during pregnancy. Although experimental data suggests that moderate consumption of quinine and chloroquine is safe during pregnancy, some healthcare professionals recommend avoiding it.

L’Aperitivo and Il Frizzante are vegan, gluten-free and caffeine-free. They contain no artificial colors or flavors.

L’Aperitivo and Il Frizzante are not certified Halal or Kosher.
